Pistons at Magic Betting Preview

Three things you should know before betting on Pistons-Magic:

1. Neither one of these teams has been winning with any sort of regularity recently, but the Pistons come into this one on a four-game losing streak and the Magic have actually covered in four of their last five. Orlando is also 7-3 against the spread in its last 10 games. The home team is 3-0 both straight-up and against the spread in this head-to-head series, and the Magic won by 16 as 3.5-point favorites when these teams met in Orlando back on January 28. That should give the team some confidence heading into this one, even with Jalen Suggs being out tonight.

2. Orlando is 4-1 against the spread when playing a team with a winning percentage of 25.0% to 40.0% in the second half of the season thus far. The Magic are also 11-9 straight up and 13-7 against the spread over the last three seasons when facing teams that are called for 2.0 or more fouls per game than their opponents. Detroit also happens to be just 9-16 straight-up when facing teams with losing records this season, so it's not like this matchup is one that will bring the best out of Dwane Casey's group.

3. The Under is 6-1 in the last seven games that the Pistons have played, and it's also 7-3 in the last 10 games that the Magic have played. It's also worth noting that the Under is 15-6 when Orlando is playing six or more games in a span of 10 days this season. The average total points scored in that situation is 208.9 points per game, which would be comfortably Under this game's total.

THE PICKS: Magic -2.5 AND Under 219
