NBA Three at 3: Best Bets for Friday, March 25

We went 3-0 with our NBA Three at 3 last night, which puts us at 5-1 over the last two evenings of picks. We'll now look to keep it rolling on a night that features an NBA TV doubleheader in which the Atlanta Hawks host the Golden State Warriors and the Philadelphia 76ers face the Los Angeles Clippers.

1. Golden State Warriors at Atlanta Hawks - 7:30 p.m. ET

The Hawks are 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games following straight-up losses, so they should be eager to bounce back from a blowout loss to the Detroit Pistons last game. Atlanta is also 19-7 against the spread in the second half of the year when playing at home against teams that shoot 36.0% or better from three over the last three seasons. And if that's not enough, the Hawks are 39-24 against the spread in home games when attempting to revenge a loss versus an opponent in that same span. With Steph Curry out with an injury for the Warriors, Jordan Poole has played really well on the offensive end. The team does, however, lose a lot of spacing with that switch, and Golden State also happens to be a lot worse defensively. That's not good against an Atlanta team that is unbelievable offensively when playing at home. With that said, look for Trae Young to lead the Hawks to a big win here.

THE PICK: Hawks -2.5

2. Dallas Mavericks at Minnesota Timberwolves - 8:00 p.m. ET

The Timberwolves nearly beat the Mavericks in Dallas the other night, but they'll now get a chance to face them at home. Minnesota is 24-13 straight-up and 22-15 against the spread when playing in their own building this season, and the team is also 25-12 against the spread when playing as a favorite this year. The Timberwolves have won by an average of 11.4 points per game when favored, and they they have also won by an average of 12.6 points per game when favored at home. Overall, the fans should just make a big difference in this game, and you should expect Dallas' role players around Luka Doncic to shoot the ball a bit worse tonight.

THE PICK: Timberwolves -3

3. Philadelphia 76ers at Los Angeles Clippers - 10:30 p.m. ET

The Clippers have been struggling in recent weeks, as they come into this game after having lost four in a row and seven of their last nine. They do, however, return home after two tough road games in a row, and they will be eager to bounce back with a better performance after losing to the Utah Jazz by 12 the other night. The Sixers are undoubtedly the more talented team in this game, but they're also trying to figure things out with James Harden. Until the Sixers really get comfortable with one another, they could have trouble with a team like the Clippers. Los Angeles knows exactly how it wants to play, and that's by locking in on the defensive end and making good use of the team's possessions on offense. It's nothing flashy or anything, but the Clippers are just hard to play against. They are also 7-5 against the spread when coming off back-to-back road losses over the last three seasons.

THE PICK: Clippers +5.5
