The Detroit Tigers and the Minnesota Twins will wrap up their three-game set this afternoon from Target Field at 1:10pm on YouTube TV.
Minnesota comes into this one as the heavy favorites to complete the sweep. Tigers skipper A.J. Hinch will send Rony Garcia to the mound, while Twins manager Rocco Baldelli will give Dylan Bundy the home start.
The Twins have won eight of the last nine meetings dating back to last August, but the Tigers have managed to cover in five of those matchups.

Detroit has a knack for both covering and winning when it’s least expected. The Tigers have gotten off to a rough start, but they still possess the talent to steal games from opponents.
A 39-year-old Miguel Cabrera leading the team in all hitting categories is all you need to know about how the Tigers have performed at the plate this season. Miggy’s a surefire hall of famer, but Detroit simply needs more from their lineup.
Rony Garcia (0-0, 2.57) will make the bullpen start for Detroit. He struck out a season-high six batters in his last appearance against the Rays.
Why Twins can cover
Minnesota looks like one of the best teams in the American League early on. The Twins come into this one winners of their last six, and they’re starting to create a gap atop the AL Central.
The Twins have been very consistent at the plate this season. Mainstays Byron Buxton, Jorge Polanco and Luis Arraez are enjoying career-years early, with the former on pace for a career-high in homers, hitting 11 already. Newcomers Carlos Correa and Gio Urshela have meshed into the lineup very well.
Dylan Bundy (3-2, 5.14) will get the ball this evening for Minnesota. It appeared that the eighth-year pitcher had turned a bit of a corner, but two of his last three starts were a bit erratic. Bundy calmed things down in a spot start against the A’s, tossing three K’s in three shutout innings.
