Premier Lacrosse League: Betting Preview for Week 4

As the PLL rolls into Baltimore, Maryland take a look below at the best bets during week four of the season!

REDWOODS VS WHIPSNAKES (FRIDAY, JUNE 24TH / 6:30 PM / ESPN2)

The first game of the Baltimore weekend sees two teams coming off a win with the Redwoods and Whipsnakes taking the field. Both teams like to be low scoring with the Redwoods only having one game cross 23 goals while the Whipsnakes have never crossed 23 goals only equaled it on week one. For that reason alone, take the “Under 22.5 Goals” (-113) in this contest. Especially for the Whipsnakes with Kyle Bernlohr who is tied for first in the league with a 62% save percentage, this game will be a cagey low scoring affair.

CHAOS VS WATERDOGS (FRIDAY, JUNE 24TH / 9:15 PM / ESPN+)

The second Friday game features two teams looking to improve their seasons with the Waterdogs and Chaos taking the field. The Waterdogs are coming off a fourth quarter meltdown against the Chrome while the Chaos lost to the then 0-2 Redwoods the prior week. The Waterdogs are +115 underdogs, but stick with them for this game! The Waterdogs are keeping games close with losses of only three and one the prior two weeks. Midfielder Kieran McArdle is finding his form with four goals and five assists to be a top-15 scorer in the league. With a team keeping games close and one of their top players staying hot, it's tough to bet against the Waterdogs.

CANNONS VS CHROME (SATURDAY, JUNE 25TH / 6:00 PM / ESPN+)

The Chrome and Connor Ferrell enter Maryland 3-0 while Lyle Thompso and the Cannons look to go back to .500 at 2-2. The Chrome came back late against the Waterdogs in Long Island while the Cannons were on the wrong side of a 20-9 blowout against the Archers. It’s hard to bet against the Chrome, but it isn’t hard to bet against the “Over 24.5 Goals” (-113) prop at all. Out of their six combined games, four have gone at or above 24 goals. As for Long Island, both their games covered the over with space as the Chrome had a 31 goal game and the Cannons a 29 goal one. With four of the league's top ten goalscorers featured in the game, take the over.

ARCHERS VS ATLAS (SATURDAY, JUNE 25TH / 8:45 PM / ESPN+)

The final game of the Baltimore weekend features two 2-1 teams with the Archers and Atlas facing off. It is hard to bet against the Archers who are coming off a 20-9 dismantling of the Cannons and feature multiple top players in the league. The Archers have the top two goalscorers in the league with Will Manny and Tom Schreiber while Atlas feature the top faceoff man in the league Trevor Baptiste. Still, with a top notch offense heading the team, it is tough to bet against the Archers moneyline (-113). The Archers feature three top-10 goalscorers and five within the top 20 point scorers. Their powerplay is also the most effective in the league with a 60% conversion rate. The Archers also have Scott Ratliff who leads all long stick midfielders in ground balls with 12. With the top offense and defense to back them up, take the Archers moneyline.

BEST OVERALL BET: Archers Moneyline -113
